MaguadaGear's Crafty Journey: 2 in one! January and Febuary Update!

January Fun:
So I did a lot of Crocheting and Nail art in January.

I attempted some bright kinda ombre thing on my nails for about a week or so I loved it! And it's actually not hard to do. I also did a Pink and purple Cheetah print!

When doing your Nails First always use a Base coat to protect your nails! I have a couple Favorites I switch between Nail Magic Botanical strengthener you can get it at your local Sally's Beauty Store. I am also very fond of Formula X nail strengthener and you can get that at your local Sephora store. I also tried a sample of Nail envy which I did like a lot I got the sample off of Amazon (nail envy mini) If you arent sure and you want to try out the product I would check out the Amazon mini sample It lasts a good 3-4weeks if you apply it everyday to your nails to help with growth and strengthening. It's a good way to see if it's the right product for you before you buy the full size bottle.

ok check this out my gf has had this eyeliner since wow I think sometime last year in July when I moved to colorado. This picture was taken in January... She is a little OCD about her eyeliner she never lets it out of her sight so she uses it till the last bit!

I've been so darn crochet addicted... when am I not lol.... ok well a little more then usual I Made these Amazing things that are for sale on my Etsy Page Maguada Gear at Etsy!

First I made this amazing Hooded scarf that I absolutely fell in love with. I chose blue just cause it's what I had at the time But it can be made in any color. I also made a similar one in red for my Bestie Vanessa.

I made these hats for Star's niece's and her nephew I still have a couple to make but so far thats what I got. A Giraffe for Xander, an Owl for miss Anya, and another Giraffe for Miss Sayla.

I also Made this Awesome infinity scarf and It's long so you can style it in so many ways! I love the colors and love how it came out!

Look at these ADORABLE cabbage patch babies!!!! I made these 'wigs' for them and omg I can't stand how cute they look!!! Little Dylan and Abigale! my chunky silly monkeys!!

I also made a couple slouch beanies! The blue Puff stitch one is worn by my gf EVERYDAY! she loves it and can't get enough of it!

Check out this cutie!! She loves playing in the snow!! She's my big helper when I have to shovel the sidewalk and driveway! Oh and she had a Birthday also and turned 7! She is such a sweetheart! I am glad she loves me and doesn't bark at me... like she does to other people. She is very protective of her pack!! but once she loves you .. She loves you! <3

Ok so we had a couple day's in January where It kinda FROZE! there were as you can see these MASSIVE icicles on all the corners of our house creepy! in the words of my brother "Whoa be careful the bad guy in Ice age died from one of those!" It was so COLD I had to make my baby Melody some booties Unfortunately I don't have pictures cause she hated them so much she didnt stand still long enough for me to take pictures poor baby. I mean it got in the negatives a couple day's and She would CRY so loud it would break my heart so I had no choice but to make her booties. But after a while we got out of the negatives and she was better... she still hates the snow though lol my poor Texas Baby!

Happy February!!

My favorite time of the month!!! Ipsy!! so my Feburary Ipsy was very Valentines themed. From the Pink Glam Bag to the Baby pink polish. I like it a lot. I even wore the lashes and pink polish for valentines day, And even did the blue clay mask the night before. If you haven't gotten your Ipsy Subscription yet get it now!! :) you wont regret it!!

Star made Valentines day so special she is so thoughtful and so darn adorable! She got me the most Gorgeous Tanzinite Necklace <3 and she left me flowers, a card, Chocolates, a balloon and Francis the zebra out on the door step :) She makes everyday worth living! I am blessed to have her in my life!

so a week before her Birthday my crazy Girlfriend decided to Chop all her hair off! It was a great decision. She loves it and I love it an so does everyone else! She is an amazing person and I love that I can encourage her and support her in everything she wants to do!

Happy Birthday to my Monkey!
I got her the guitar she had been eyeballing for months. She loves it and I love to hear her play it. Honestly It is one of my favorite things to just lay back, relax and listen to her play her guitar. It's such an amazing sound! And have I mentioned she is an amazing Woman! <3 (lol)
